 Paul Altman has been involved in real estate for 26 years and is the managing director of Altman Real Estate Ltd. He has been at the forefront of developments in the luxury residential market in recent years and was instrumental in the establishment of the highly successful Royal Westmoreland golf residential community and the spectacular David Lloyd community, Sugar Hill, for which Altman Real Estate are the exclusive agents.
In addition to the luxury property market, Paul is involved in urban renewal programs in Speightstown, where he is Chairman of the Task Force and in Bridgetown through his directorship with Barbados Shipping and Trading Co Ltd. He is past President of the Barbados National Trust and a Director of the Fortress Caribbean Property Fund.
Terry HantonManaging Director of Property Consultancy Services
 Terry Hanton runs PCS, the consulting division of Altman Real Estate. Terry is a Chartered Accountant and has worked for the past twenty years in hospitality and real estate development. Until 1996 he was Finance Director of St. James Beach Hotels PLC, Barbados' largest hotel chain, and oversaw the group's transition to a UK public company whilst undertaking major expansion.
Since then he has worked on a wide range of real estate and hospitality assignments through his own company and in association with Ernst & Young. He is a director of four property development companies and of the Fortress Caribbean Property Fund. Terry offers overall support to the entire team at Altman Real Estate.

 The Altman Group is delighted to announce the establishment of Altman Caribbean Inc., the third member of the group. ACI has been established to expand the Group’s capability to address developing opportunities throughout the Caribbean basin region.
ACI will focus on luxury residence property development, sales and management as well as targeted opportunities in the regional commercial real estate market. ACI has developed strong partnerships with leading developers and investors throughout the region and is currently involved with a number of projects in Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago and St. Lucia.
Mr. Julian Jordan brings a breadth of deal-making and management experience to his role as the managing director of ACI. Julian spent several years as a banker at the International Finance Corporation in Washington D.C evaluating and structuring debt equity financing deals for Latin American clients in the manufacturing, textiles and other industries. He also worked for the Parthenon Group - a boutique strategy consulting firm – and was involved in engagements in Boston, London and Berne, Switzerland. More recently, Julian spent four years as part of a team developing Flarion Technologies, a wireless technology company based in New Jersey USA, before it was acquired in August 2005.
Julian is a Barbadian national; he earned a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. |
